Service Philosophy Wooling Hill's Service Philosophy is to provide individual reponses to your individual needs, with unobtrusive empathy to the emotions that accompany the significant event that is occuring in your life.
Our focus is on the people involved and not on buildings, plaques or other elements. Our staff are trained in dealing with grief, demonstrating through their behaviour and sensitivity Wooling Hill's commitment to the needs of the families involved.
Our staff will deliver as much or as little as you need to organise an individual service, interment or event. We involve the families in the plans and events, organising around you rather than you around us.During its design and construction, Wooling Hill deliberately avoided laying row upon row of bleak, sterile concrete, choosing rather to keep faith with its rural heritage by creating a softer look to the paths and gardens.
Our rural heritage dates back to the early Gisborne settlers and includes the "Heritage listed" original Robertson Family cemetery complete with post and rail fencing (below).
